| Shopping - Raku Pottery
In her most recent Raku pottery, Lynn Dee continues to explore form and pattern. She enhances her hand thrown shapes and sculptural attachments with brushwork of glazes and metallic oxides. Bamboo has long been one of her favorite subjects. However, it was not until she had bamboo growing in her own garden, that she sat down with brush and glaze in hand and painted bamboo directly onto a vase. That was about eight years ago. Her bamboo brushwork has gradually acquired more feeling and become more abstract. After many inquiries, Lynn Dee is now offering her work for sale via this website. Typically only available in galleries, she is proud to present an offering of no less than one dozen raku pieces. (see below) Click the images for more information.
